3/4 + 1/6 = 9/12 + 2/12 = 11/12

Why families choose us

Support that feels personal, patient, and clear.

Personalized Lessons

Every one-on-one session targets the student's exact class, homework, upcoming tests, and skill gaps - not a generic curriculum.

Patient Explanations

If the first explanation doesn't click, we try a second one, and a third - until the concept actually makes sense.

Confidence Building

The real win isn't just a better grade. It's a student who looks at a new problem and thinks, "I can figure this out."

Questions parents ask

FAQ

Q.Do you help with homework?

Yes. Homework can be used as a starting point, but sessions also focus on the skills behind the homework so students do not become dependent on hints.

Q.Where do sessions take place?

Tutoring sessions take place at the Vacaville Cultural Center Library. Method Math does not currently offer online sessions.

Q.How often should my child meet with a tutor?

Most students do well with one session per week. Students who are behind, preparing for a retake, or facing a major test may benefit from two sessions per week temporarily.

Q.What should students bring?

Students should bring homework, class notes, recent quizzes/tests, a pencil, paper, calculator if used in class, and a positive attitude.

Q.Do you provide parent updates?

Yes. Parents can receive a short update after sessions covering what was reviewed, what improved, and what the student should practice next.

Q.What is your cancellation policy?

Please cancel at least 24 hours before the session when possible. Cancellations within 24 hours are charged half the session fee; cancellations within 3 hours and no-shows are charged the full session fee. Late pick-up is $10 for every 10 minutes.

Q.Do you support California Common Core math courses?

Yes. Sessions can reinforce the concepts, vocabulary, and problem-solving methods used in a student's California Common Core-aligned class, including traditional Algebra and Geometry courses and the Integrated Mathematics pathway.
